Anton Harrison, a four-star recruit from Archbishop Carroll High School, opted for the Oklahoma Sooners over Michigan, Ohio State, and Penn State. He managed to earn playing time as a freshman in 2020 before being appointed as the Sooners’ primary blindside protector in both 2021 and 2022.

During his freshman year in 2020, Harrison played in 9 games and amassed a total of 333 snaps as the left tackle for the Sooners. Despite facing pressure from the opposing team’s defensive line, he only allowed 4 QB hurries, 2 QB hits, and one sack.

In his sophomore year of 2021, Harrison played in 13 games and accumulated 671 snaps. He faced 14 QB hurries, 1 QB hit, and 2 sacks.

SCOUTING REPORT- STRENGTHS

Anton Harrison is a highly promising offensive tackle prospect who boasts an ideal size and length combination that runs in his family of pro bowl Oklahoma offensive tackles. Harrison’s performance on the field has been consistently impressive, and his unique combination of strength, agility, and speed sets him apart from many of his peers.

One of Harrison’s most noteworthy attributes is his ability to keep his feet sliding while maintaining power when dealing with speed, often sending speed rushers flying past the pocket. He has a good speed to mirror pass rushers on the edge, as evidenced by his surrendering just 4 sacks in three years of college ball. These skills make him one of the best pass protectors in the nation and have been consistently on display throughout his college career.

Harrison also takes great pride as a run blocker, where he exhibits excellent physicality and plays through the whistle. He has the natural power in the run game to move defenders at the point of attack and the agility and speed to get out in front and land blocks at the second level.
